About the exhibition:

This collection of paintings is the culmination of Emma’s continued exploration of colour and its ability to physically and emotionally change moods and enliven spaces. Her intention is always to create pieces that will allow the viewer a moment of introspection, encouraged by her gentle mark making and abstract compositions. By choosing to work with abstraction she allows her audience to dive deeper into their internal dialogue where she hopes to stir something from the unrecognisable, if only for a brief moment.

Emma Dillon Hill is a visual artist and educator with a passion for colourful abstract art. With years of experience as both a practicing artist and arts educator, she creates captivating artworks that aim to uplift and inspire. Through a harmonious blend of hues, tones and textures, her pieces invite viewers to experience the positive impact of colour on mood and it’s value for self-expression. Her art serves as a means to personalise spaces and evoke emotions.

Through workshops and collaborations, she encourages others to explore their creativity, and discover the joy of colour for themselves.
