Thank you for choosing to use our studio! We hope you enjoy your time with us and we would love to hear any feedback you may have.

 
 

  • Studio hire includes the use of trestle tables, chairs, stools, polyboards & stands, shot bags (x2), c-stand (x1), clothing steamer & racks. Our kitchen is fully equipped with basic crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment as well as a toaster, kettle, blender, stand mixer, microwave, six burner gas stove, oven, espresso and filter coffee machine

  • We have a beautiful range of food styling props and surfaces available to hire for food or product shoots, please enquire.

  • Booking times include bump in and bump out. Please ensure to stick to your allocated booking time and let us know if you anticipate that you might go overtime.

    Overtime rates are charged as follows:

    Studio: $100 + gst per hour

    Gallery / Kitchen: $150 + gst per hour

  • Please ensure to only shoot in the allocated space that you have booked. The gallery space and kitchen are separate to the studio and we may have multiple groups utilising the space on a given day. We charge separately for photography or filming in each area of the space, including outside.

  • Network name: The KO Creative Studio 5

  • We use SONOS speakers within the space. To control the music download the latest version of the Sonos App and ensure you’re connected to the above wifi network.

  • Please let us know in advance if you are planning on shooting video. Please be aware that the space is not soundproof and we cannot ensure that the space will not be affected by noise from our neighbours. Videography hire is charged on an enquiry basis.

  • We can provide catering for your shoot, please enquire for options, at least 48 hours notice required. To provide your own catering our recommendations include:

    Skinny Dippers Café

    Healthy options and great for catering to any and all dietary requirements.

    Born & Bread Bakehouse
    364 Pakington St, Newtown VIC 3220

    Delicious array of freshly prepared sandwiches, cakes and pastries.

    Uber Eats / Deliveroo
    Plenty of options available close by.

  • Please help yourself to coffee and tea in the studio, located in the kitchen and kitchenette. To keep things tidy there is an integrated dishwasher located in the kitchen on the righthand side of the sink for any dishes.

  • Please leave the space clean and tidy with everything replaced as you found it on completion of your shoot, or a cleaning fee may apply. Thank you!
