Samantha Waters is an Australian contemporary artist based on Wadawurrung Country in Geelong.  

Samantha's distinctive technique involves manipulating fabric and plaster to create shapes reminiscent of draped or rumpled sheets, inviting viewers to reflect on the raw beauty in moments of imperfection and disarray. 

Her sculptures, which often suggest the lingering presence of human interaction, are both tactile and atmospheric, capturing a sense of stillness and tension. Through her innovative use of materials, she transforms soft, familiar textiles into hardened forms, creating a dialogue between fragility and permanence.
