PLOT ARCHITECTURE & INTERIOR DESIGN Renovation Workshop

  • THE KO 1/14 Lambert Avenue Newtown Australia (map)

Victoran, Edwardian and Californian Bungalows share a lot in common, most notably their period charm and high ceilings, but these also share a lack of many of today's creature comforts including Ensuites, Open-Plan Living, Outdoor Living and even Island Benches (not to mention a general disregard for the sun...)

For first time renovators it can often be a daunting task to begin the design process and navigate council/ planning requirements but sometimes a little bit of guidance can go a long way…

Which is why PLOT is preparing to run a free group workshop to support anyone thinking about renovating their existing home but could do with a few tips, tricks and pointers.

Our aim will be to cover off:
- Design Strategies
- Heritage
- Sustainability
- Planning Permits
- Building Permits
- Construction Methods (Builder vs Owner Builder)
- Cost of Construction

It's a lot to cover in one hour but we'll do our best to get you on your way!
