Join us at THE KO on Saturday August 10th for an edible garden design workshop with Ben Shaw.
Ben will cover the basic principles of permaculture and give you the tools, knowledge and inspiration needed to turn your garden into an edible paradise.
The workshop includes coffee and tea, light snacks, an information sheet to take away from the day and a packet of seeds to begin your edible garden journey.
This workshop is suitable for those looking for an overview and introduction to growing their own garden using the principles of permaculture.
About Ben Shaw:
Ben transformed his previously barren backyard in Geelong to a bountiful food forest, using permaculture design principles. His garden has also been featured in the Age, Green Magazine & Homelife as an example of a well-designed, productive permaculture garden. Ben has been honing his gardening skills for over 2 decades, in particular through his work at Basil’s Farm where he established gardens which provide fresh produce for the restaurant. Ben has also been facilitating edible garden workshops since 2014.
